Mooloolaba

Today's writer:  Shaaza
so now that I'm writing, let me warn u. this is NOT going to be as detailed as Klemm's writing. i'll try but it might be hard.  so after Sydney we flew to Maroochydore in the Sunshine Coast. Let's just start by saying, it was definitely an adventure getting to our 1st hostel.   We caught a bus from the airport and told them we were going to the hostel.  Basically, the bus driver thought we were talking about a diff hostel.  Sooooo...he dropped us off at what he thought was the right bus stop. Wrongo!    Thank goodness for a lady walking by who could tell we were lost....so she figured out where we really needed to go and so we started lugging alllll of r 1700 pounds of luggage down the road. yes, again we were sweating.    But then who do u think comes to save the day?    yep u guessed it....the bus driver!!  He saw us lugging our stuff all over town, and yelled out his window at us asking what we were doing...we said YOU DROPPED US OFF AT THE WRONG STOP!!!!   he picked us up again and took us directly to the right hostel we needed to be at...just picture a huge city bus driving in a residentail neighborhood. yep we were definitely those girls.
So we stayed in a hostel in Marooychdore and to sum it up, it sucked.  haha besides our awesome roommate from Spain who rocked our world.  We then made our way over to Mooloolaba where our hostel was 3 blocks from the beach.  Yep, pretty much amazing.  We had only planned on staying here 2 nights, but after 20 minutes of being there, we realized we loved it and ended up booking a couple more weeks.   Side note-Barney (my awesome luggage that Klemm loves) got us some sweet room upgrades.  We got an ensuite room (with our own bathroom) for the price of a standard room.  And by some sweet upgardes, I mean we got a nasty nasty shower that I almost vomitted in everytime.  Yum i know.  Basically showering in this room was a chore and someone should have to pay us to do it.  Klemm said she learned a lot more about my OCD during this stay.  Even though she calls it OCD, I think it's normal to want to have a clean shower?  Maybe I'm wrong?
To sum up Mooloolaba, we went to the beach pretty much everyday or rode bikes to the library to look  for jobs.   Our hostel had free breakfast (toast) which believe it or not, yes we got super excited for toast everyday.   They had free kayaks, surfboards, bodyboards and bikes.  We kayaked one day but almost got caught in a huge storm, luckily for my strength and sense of direction, we made it home safely.  Klemm owes me.
The hostel we stayed at was fun, but a lot of the people were a bit younger and a little bit clicky.  We tried looking for jobs in Mooloolaba but didnt have any luck which is probably a good thing bcuz the nightlife there is weak as hek.  They only have 4 bars!  Which is definitely not big enough for these 2 girls  :)
Just found this draft that we never posted....so 10 months later....
